Announcements from the Alameda Pirates:
This season the AYFA will
NOT be
accepting cash - so please make your registration payment
with a check or money order.
If your child did not return
all the
equipment from last season (including bags), they will not
be allowed to suit up or be issued any equipment until the
items not returned are paid for.
There will no longer be fee
waivers for football or cheer. All registration fees must be paid in full by
August 20, 2008, or your child will not be
allowed to participate. Please be aware that your child's
spot on the team is not secure until the registration fee is
paid in full.
San Jose PAL requires us to
have a
physical form
(dated in 2008) from a doctor stating that your child is
able to participate in football or cheer. A child will only
participate in the first's week practice, which will only be
conditioning, if this
form is not turned in or a parent/guardian is at practice. All
participants must have this form turned
in by July 25, 2008 or they will not be allowed to
participate in practice--this is when we pad up and contact starts.
